[Clamp FD Position Adj.]
Overview
Adjust the alignment width in the fore-edge direction (paper feed direction) of the body in the clamp section.
Make this adjustment when misalignment or distortion occurs in the fore-edge direction of the body during perfect binding using Perfect Binder PB-503.
- If a numeric value is entered in [Offset for All Size], it is applied to all the paper sizes. If a numeric value is entered for a specific paper size, the setting value becomes the sum of the entered value of the specific paper size and the entered value of [Offset for All Size].
Setting Procedure

Load covers into the Perfect binder cover tray or any paper tray.

Load body paper into any paper tray.

Select the key of the paper size you want to adjust.

Select the tray in which body paper was loaded in step 2.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A perfect binding sample is output.

Check whether the sub scanning direction of the body is unified on all pages.

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

[Adj. Range:-20~+20 1step = 0.1mm]

Repeat steps 4 to 9 until the desired result is obtained.
