Adjust the pitch of the alignment plate for stapling on the SaddleStitcher SD-506 to reduce misalignment and distortion in the paper stack.
Make this adjustment when misalignment or distortion occurs on the paper stack during stapling.
The following setting conditions are provided depending on the paper size.

Before printing, always pull out the Fold/Staple mode tray. Otherwise, a sample is not output even if you press Start on the Control panel.
a: Misalignment occurs if the specified paper width is wider than the paper width.
b: A distortion occurs If the specified paper width is narrower than the actual paper width.
Standard value: a = 1 mm or less
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

For SaddleStitcher SD-506, when the paper width of a paper size such as [A4w] is less than 222 mm and the staple pitch is 91 mm or less, the staple pitch is set to 91 mm automatically.
