[Tri-Fold Position Adj.]
Overview
Adjust the Tri-Fold position for Saddle Stitcher SD-513. Make this adjustment when the fold position deviates from the standard value.
Tips
- If a numeric value is entered in [Offset for All Size], it is applied to all the paper sizes. If a numeric value is entered for a specific paper size, the setting value becomes the sum of the entered value of the specific paper size and the entered value of [Offset for All Size].
- When adjusting both [Fold 1] and [Fold 2], first adjust [Fold 1]. [Fold 1] and [Fold 2] are located based on the paper edge position. The dimension value shown in "b" of step 5 is changed even if either position of [Fold 1] and [Fold 2] is changed.
Confirm the following standard values in step 5.

Setting Procedure

Press the selection key of the paper size to adjust.

Press [Print Mode].

Load the paper of the size to be adjusted into any tray, and select that paper tray.

Press Start on the Control panel.
A sample is output.

Check lengths "a" and "b" of the printed paper.
Standard value: a = -1.5 mm to +1.5 mm, b = -3.0 mm to +3.0 mm

If any adjustments are required, press [Exit PrintMode] to return to the setting screen.

Select [Fold 1].

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

Select [Fold 2].

Use the on-screen keypad to enter the numeric value.
Use [+ / -] to select the plus or minus of the numeric value. To change [Current Data], press [Set].

Repeat steps 2 to 10 until the desired result is obtained.
