TCP/IP Settings

Configure the settings to use this machine in a TCP/IP environment.

Settings

Description

[ON]/[OFF]

Select whether to use TCP/IP.

[ON] is specified by default.

[IPv4 Settings]

Assign an IP address (IPv4) to this machine.

[IPv6 Settings]

Assign an IP address (IPv6) to this machine.

For details, refer to Here.

[DNS Host]

When connecting to this machine using the host name on the DNS server environment, register the host name of this machine.

[DNS Domain]

Register the name of a domain this machine joins.

[DNS Server Settings (IPv4)]

To resolve the name using the host name when accessing a computer or server on the network from this machine, register your DNS server address (IPv4) on this machine.

[DNS Server Settings (IPv6)]

To resolve the name using the host name when accessing a computer or server on the network from this machine, register your DNS server address (IPv6) in this machine.

[IPsec Settings]

Configure settings to enable use of IPsec on this machine.

[IPv4 Filtering (Permit Access)]

Specify an IPv4 address of a computer to which you want to allow access to this machine.

[IPv4 Filtering (Deny Access)]

Specify an IPv4 address of a computer to which you want to deny access to this machine.

[IPv6 Filtering (Permit Access)]

Specify an IPv6 address of a computer to which you want to allow access to this machine.

[IPv6 Filtering (Deny Access)]

Specify an IPv6 address of a computer to which you want to deny access to this machine.

[Quick IP Filtering]

Allows you to restrict the devices that can access this machine using the IP address (IPv4/IPv6). The range of IP addresses for which access is to be restricted is specified automatically.

[RAW Port Number]

Specify a RAW port number required for Port9100 printing.

[LLMNR Setting]

Select whether to use LLMNR (Link-local Multicast Name Resolution).
