Non-image Area Erase: Erasing the Outside of the Original
The following three options are provided to select the condition of Non-Image Area Erase function.
[Erase Outside of Original]: Always erase the outside area of the original.
[ON - APS/AMS Only]: Erase the outside area of the original only when Auto Paper or Auto Zoom is activated.
[Except Orig. Glass (1:1)]: Erase the outside area except when making a same-sized copy as the original scanned from the original glass.
Follow the procedure on Administrator Setting to display the [Administrator Setting Menu] screen.
Press [System Setting] on the [Administrator Setting Menu] screen, and then press [Expert Adjustment], [Erase Correction], and [Non-Image Area Erase] in sequence.
The [Original Scan Area Setting] screen is displayed.
Select the desired setting key.
Press [OK] to complete the setting.
To cancel the change, press [Cancel].
In either case, the screen returns to the [Erase Correction Menu] screen.
