Usable Paper Weight Select: Selecting the Paper Weight to Use

Specify the paper weight available for each of body and cover when using the perfect binder.

  1. Follow the procedure on Administrator Setting to display the [Administrator Setting Menu] screen.

  2. Press [System Setting] on the [Administrator Setting Menu] screen, and then press [Perfect Binder Setting] and [Usable Paper Weight Select] in sequence.

  3. Select the desired paper weight for the body set and cover, respectively.

    • Use [Change Weight Unit] on the right side of the screen to switch the unit of weight.

    • If one of the paper weight selected here is not specified for the tray to be used in perfect binding, the binding operation will become unavailable with an "unsuitable" message displayed.

  4. Press [OK] to complete the setting.

    • To cancel the change, press [Cancel]. In either case, the screen returns to the [Perfect Binder Setting Menu] screen.
