Cleaning the Paper Feeder Unit PF-602m

If the Feed roller and Pickup roller of the Paper Feeder Unit PF-602m are dirty, clean them according to the procedure.

Open the Front door.

Turn the Main power switch on and then turn the Sub power switch on.

• For details, refer to Turning This System On.

Pull out the Upper tray.

Close the Front door.

Apply some cleaning alcohol to a soft cloth and wipe clean the Feed roller.

Return the Upper tray to its home position.

Clean the Lower tray in the same way.

Open the Tray left side door.

Open the Lever [PF1].

Wipe the internal parts until they are clean using a soft, clean cloth.

Close the Lever [PF1].

Open the Lever [PF2].

Wipe the internal parts until they are clean using a soft, clean cloth.

Open the Lever [PF3].

Wipe the internal parts until they are clean using a soft, clean cloth.

Close Lever [PF3] and Lever [PF2].

Open the Lever [PF5].

Wipe the internal parts until they are clean using a soft, clean cloth.

Close the Lever [PF5].

Close the Tray left side door.
