Loading Small-sized Paper Into the Paper Feed Unit PF-707m
Overview
Open the Small size guides and load the small sized paper into the Paper Feed Unit PF-707m.
The minimum width of the Side guides of Paper Feed Unit PF-707m is 139.7 mm / 5.5". To load paper of the width less than the minimum, open the Small size guides.
- If the machine is not powered on, the tray cannot be pulled out. Turn the Sub power switch on. For details, refer to Turning This System On.
- Do not pull out multiple trays at once. Doing so may cause the machine to topple over.
- Small sized paper can only be loaded to the 1st paper feeder unit.
- Do not open Small size guides when loading paper wider than the minimum width of Side guides.
- Open both Small size guides when using the Small size guides. Do not load the paper in a state when only one of them is open.
Procedure
1
Pull out the tray into which the paper is loaded.
2
Open each of the Small size guides of the front and back side Side guides inward.
3
Slide the Paper holding plate fixing lever (2 locations) to the left, and lock them.
4
Load paper with the print side facing up while aligning to the left side of the tray.
- Exercise care that loaded paper does not exceed the maximum stack height lines displayed on the Small size guides.
5
Move the Side guides and align the Small size guides with the paper.
Rotate the Side guide lock knobs of the Side guides counterclockwise to loosen them.
Press down the Side guide lock release lever of front side Side guides and align the Small size guides with the paper.

7
Align the Rear guide plate with the paper.

8
Firmly push the tray all the way in.
The remaining paper amount indicator changes from "" to "".
