Using Folding Unit FD-503

With Folding Unit FD-503 mounted, the following fold and punch patterns are available.

Fold:

Six folding types are available; [Z-Fold], [Tri-Fold-in], [Tri-Fold-out], [Double Parallel], [Gate], and [Half Fold]. Specify the print side ([outside] or [inside]) for each fold mode except Z-Fold.

Punch:

Punches 2, 3 or 4 holes in printed sheets for filing purposes. Specify the desired punch position (left/right/top) according to the original set direction.

When Folding Unit FD-503 is used as a single finishing option, the primary (main) tray and multi folder tray are available to be allotted with output modes as described below.

Multi folder tray	Tri-Fold-in, Tri-Fold-out, Double Parallel, Gate

The secondary (sub) tray is also available in place of the multi folder tray. Contact your service representative.
