Printed image quality is adjusted according to the type of the original.
This setting is effective for all modes of [Single Color], [Black], [Full Color], and [Auto Color].
The density level can be shifted in each of 8 modes of [Type]. For details, refer to Original Density Shift: Adjusting the Original Density Shift Amount.

Position the original.
Press the [COPY] tab to display the [COPY] screen.
Press [Original Setting].
The [Original Setting] screen is displayed.
Select the desired mode key from [Type].
Press [OK].
The screen returns to the [COPY] screen.
To restore the default setting, press [Default Set] and to restore the previous setting, press [Cancel].
Printing does not start without returning to the [COPY] screen. Be sure to display the [COPY] screen.
