Creasing Paper in Multi Tri-Fold

When Saddle Stitcher SD-513 equipped with Creaser Unit CR-101 is mounted on this machine, paper can be creased at two positions in the folded part to be folded in three.

Multi Tri-Fold

Select Crease - ON on the Multi Tri-Fold setting screen.

Two creases are applied to the paper part folded in three. In this case, only one sheet can be folded. Multi Tri-Fold is not carried out.

NOTICE
  • A misalignment may occur between the fold position and crease position depending on the paper weight. In such a case, adjust the crease position to suit the fold position. For details, refer to [Crease Position Adjustment].

  1. Position the original.

  2. Press the COPY tab to display the COPY screen.

  3. Press Output Setting.

    The Output Setting screen is displayed.

  4. Press Multi 3-Fold.

    The Multi Tri-Fold setting screen is displayed.

  5. Press either Outside Print or Inside Print.

  6. Select Crease - ON.

  7. Press OK.

    • supplementary explanationTo undo the setting, press Cancel.

      This returns to the Output Setting screen.

    • supplementary explanationMulti 3-Fold and Crease are highlighted. In this case, no crease setting can be configured even if Crease is pressed.

  8. Press OK on the Output Setting screen to return to the COPY screen.

    An icon representing specified function is displayed under Output Setting on the COPY screen.

  9. Select additional copy conditions, as desired.

  10. Enter the desired print quantity using the keypad.

  11. Press Start on the control panel.
