When you have to remove the printer driver, for example, when reinstallation of the printer driver is necessary, remove the driver using the following procedure.

Open [System Settings] (or [System Preferences]) in the Apple menu, and click [Printers & Scanners].

Select the printer you want to delete, and then click [Remove Printer] (or [-]).
The selected printer is deleted.

Drag the files of the printer driver of this machine, which are located in [Library] - [Printers] - [PPDs] - [Contents] - [Resources] on the installed [Macintosh HD] (system hard disk), to the [Trash] icon.

Delete unnecessary files from [Library] - [Printers].

Restart the computer.
This completes the deletion process of the printer driver.
