WSD (Web Service for Device) is a function to search for a WSD-compatible device on the network.
This function enables you to automatically detect the machine connected to the network and easily install it as a WSD printer.
Configure the operating environment for WSD printing.
For details on the setting procedure, refer to Configuring the WSD Printing Environment.
Insert the driver DVD into the computer's disk drive, or unzip the downloaded driver. If the installation program launches, exit it.

The printer driver addition wizard starts.
The printer drivers able to be selected are PCL, PCL vX.X.X, PS, and PS vX.X.X. If the printer drivers do not need to coexist with other versions of the printer driver, select PCL or PS. If the printer drivers need to coexist with other versions, select PCL vX.X.X or PS vX.X.X.
Installation of the printer driver starts.
This machine is added as the WSD printer.
