Rename the File of Hold Job

You can rename the file of the hold job.

1. Select a job from the Hold Job list.

   • supplementary explanationYou can operate print jobs that are set to PS, PDF, PDF (APPE), TIFF, JPEG, or PPML as the PDL type displayed in the job list, but you cannot do other types of print jobs, print jobs from the PPD driver, or copy jobs. However, by changing the setting of No. 28 in Utility/Counter - Administrator Setting - Controller - Software Switch Setting, you can also operate a PPD job.

2. Select Hold Job - Change File Name from the Job Operations menu.

   The Change File Name screen is displayed.

3. Enter the changed file name using up to 63 characters, then click OK.
