Open the top cover of Roll Winder RW-201.
Open the front door of Roll Winder RW-201 and use the side plates moving handle to open the side plate.
If the rubber roller is attached, use the lever to detach the rubber roller.
Clean the rubber roller while spinning it.
Firmly clean the rubber roller as glue easily sticks to the both ends of the roller.
After cleaning is complete, allow isopropyl alcohol to dry before attaching the rubber roller.
Loosen the thumbscrews of the squeezing bar to extend the squeezing bar angle.
Detach the media guides to clean.
Push the rear side of the media guide by hand to detach it.
Each media guide has a chain. If you accidentally drop a media guide, pull the chain to pick it up.
Clean the squeezing bar.
Clean the side plate.
To clean the side plate on the back side, reach out your hand under the loop detection sensor.
Attach the media guides.
Attach the media guide on the back side so that it aligns with the red line. Attach the media guide on the front side so that it aligns with the width of paper.
Put back the angle of the squeezing bar and tighten the thumbscrews.
Use the side plates moving handle to make an adjustment so that the side plates are positioned 2 mm (±1 mm) / 0.08" (±0.04") away from the edges of the media.
