Encryption

You can assign a password to the scan data saved in PDF format.

This option is available when PDF + Package or PDF + Divided is selected in File Type. Press the Encryption button, and enter the password.

Tips

Select Package to create a single file for all pages of the original, and select Divided to create a single file for each page.
Encryption is not available for PDF/A-based PDF, TIFF, XPS, and JPEG.
