Perfect Binding
You can adjust various positions and misalignments for perfect binding by specifying the desired values. The following adjustable settings are introduced in this section.
Cover Paper Lead Edge | Adjust the lead edge position of left cover page determined with reference to the body set. |
Spine Corner Forming Position | Adjust the cover paper so that the spine is flat. |
Sub Compile CD Width | If there is misalignment in the sub-compiled pages of the body set or vertical misalignment in the pages, adjust the width to reduce the misalignment and curve. |
Clamp CD Width | If there is vertical misalignment, unevenness, or irregularity in the pages of the body sets in the clamped portion, adjust the cover paper width in the cross paper-feed direction. |
Cover Up/Down CD Width | If there is misalignment of the body sets and cover paper in the cross paper-feed direction, adjust the width to reduce the misalignment and curve. |
Clamp FD Position Adjustment | Change the adjustment width in paper feed direction if output sheets show misalignment in a body set. |
