Adjustment Flow when changing the screen

When to perform

The reproducibility of an image is significantly dependent on the screen. Select a screen suitable for the required image quality and change.
Perform this adjustment at any of the following cases:

  • When an image is difficult to reproduce using the current screen (or auto selection)

Adjustment Menu Items

In the adjustment flow when changing the screen, perform the following adjustments in order, and then perform the additional adjustments until you can get the desirable print results.

If you pause the adjustment flow partway when changing the screen, perform the gamma automatic adjustment, and then perform the next adjustment.
Example: If the density balance adjustment was performed when the adjustment paused, perform the gamma automatic adjustment, and then perform the controller calibration.

  • If the print results should not reach a desirable image quality after performing all the adjustment menu items, please contact your service representative.
