Regular Adjustment Flow (High Accuracy)

When to perform

Perform this adjustment if you require a higher level of stability for image quality.
Perform this adjustment for the following.

  • When 6 hours have passed since turning on the power of the machine

  • Immediately before a job for which hue is important is output

  • When the color stability is not desirable (when you want to increase the accuracy of reproducibility)

  • When using a different type of paper

  • Other cases such as when you cannot get the desired hue

Adjustment Menu Items

In the regular adjustment flow, perform the following adjustments in order, and then perform the additional adjustments until you get the desirable print results.

If you pause the adjustment flow partway, perform the gamma automatic adjustment, and then perform the next adjustment.
Example: If the maximum density adjustment was performed when the adjustment paused, perform the gamma automatic adjustment, and then perform the controller calibration.

  • You do not need to perform the advanced controller calibration (Exact Color or G7 calibration) in the regular adjustment flow (high accuracy) every time. It is recommended to perform the calibration procedure once every three months.

  • If the print results should not reach a desirable image quality after performing all the adjustment menu items, please contact your service representative.

STEP 1: Gamma automatic adjustment

This automatically adjusts the color reproducibility of the whole paper to be output.

STEP 2: Maximum density adjustment

Increase the accuracy of reproducibility of density.

STEP 4: Advanced controller calibration (Exact Color or G7 calibration)

Executing advanced controller calibration increases the calibration accuracy.

STEP 5: Adjust spot colors

This function allows you to register spot color information, add edited custom spot colors, and adjust and replace colors that are not reproduced as desired.
