A communication protocol that transfers files and folders to an online server.

• Can also be used to send data outside the company environment

• Can be used on both Windows and Macintosh systems

• Can be used stably because it is a protocol that assumes the sending of data

SMB

(Server Message Block)

A protocol that allows shared folders present on individual computers to be accessed via a network.

• No dedicated applications are required because it can be constructed using OS functions

• It is not demanding on the administrator because it can be used at the user level

WebDAV

(Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning)

A protocol that allows files and folders present on the online servers to be transferred and managed.

• Can also be used to send data outside the company environment

• Can be used as long as you have an Internet connection

• Allows for data present on the servers to be edited

• Does not depend on any one particular OS
