In general use, the black density 100% area of original data cannot be output with a black density of 100% because the gradation of the CMYK high-density part is reproduced in the APPE profile for converting CMYK data to gray scale. Therefore, the target data should be forcibly output with a black density of 100%. |
Configure a setting so that a black density of 100% can be maintained for an image object. Setting value Off: Does not maintain a black density of 100% to output data in gray scale mode. On: Maintains a black density of 100% to output data in gray scale mode. [Restrictions] The target area is forcibly output with a black density of 100%; therefore, the gradation of the high-density part may be damaged. We recommend that you only use this function for the scanned text data. When this function is set to On, the Pure Black setting is not applied to data. Only PS (CPSI), PDF (CPSI), TIFF (Emperor), and PPML are available. CPSI is available only when switch number 158 is set to On. |
