Paper Width Adjustment

When output paper is misaligned in the crosswise direction of the Large Capacity Stacker LS-506 stacker tray, adjust the alignment plate position at alignment to reduce misalignment and distortion of output paper in the stacker tray.

Objects of adjustment: Stacker No. 1, Stacker No. 2

  1. Press Adjustment on the MACHINE screen to display the Adjustment Menu screen.

  2. Press Finisher Adjustment, Stacker Adjustment, and Paper Width Adjustment in sequence.

  3. When Large Capacity Stacker LS-506 is used with two stackers, select Stacker No.1 or Stacker No.2.

  4. Press Print Mode.

  5. Load the desired paper into a tray, then select that tray.

  6. Press Start on the control panel.

    A sample pattern will be output.

  7. Check that no printed paper is misaligned or skewed.

  8. If any adjustment is required, press Exit PrintMode to return to the Paper Width Adjustment screen.

  9. Use the touch panel keypad to enter the set value.

    Adj. Range: -20~+20 1 step = 0.1 mm

  10. Repeat steps 4 to 9 until the desired result is obtained.

  11. Press Return.

    The screen returns to the Stacker Adjustment Menu screen.
