Regular Adjustment Workflow
Overview
After powering on the system or when changing the paper in the tray, follow the procedure below to adjust the image position.
When Mounted With Intelligent Quality Care Unit IQ-501
Step 1
Load the paper you want to use for the adjustments into the tray. Adjust the Side guides on the Paper tray if you are using a paper feeder unit to improve printing stability.
Step 2
Automatically performs [Both Sides].
With a Scanner (Original Glass)
- [Front] adjustment is necessary in between Step 1 and Step 2 depending on the firmware version being used. For details, contact your service representative.

Perform [Both Sides].
Without a Scanner (Original Glass)
Step 1
Load the paper you want to use for the adjustments into the tray. Adjust the Side guides on the Paper tray if you are using a paper feeder unit to improve printing stability.
Step 2
Perform [Both Sides] based on the profile saved when you began using a new paper.
Step 3
Adjust the back side. When prioritizing the accuracy of the image positioning, perform [Deformation] adjustment. When making simple adjustments by reducing the number of measurement points, perform [Gap] adjustment (backside adjustment).
