[Adhesive Binding]
Overview
Adhesive Binding is a function that sets adhesive binding for the finishing. Book-like bookbinding is possible by folding sheets in half and piling up them. The spine is fixed with glue after printing.
Setting [Adhesive Binding] arranges the pages double-sided and prints them so that they are in the page order of the original (adhesive binding) when each sheet is folded in half and layered on top of the others.
- [Left Bind] or [Right Bind] can be set as the opening direction for [Adhesive Binding].
- The finished pages are assigned in multiples of 4. If the number of original pages is insufficient, blank pages are automatically inserted at the end.
- Paper is selected by paper tray. The longer side of the paper loaded in the selected paper tray is divided into 2 parts for printing. Also, [Auto Zoom] is set automatically.
The page order is reversed between [Left Bind] and [Right Bind].
For [Left Bind]:
For [Right Bind]:
- In general, when the text is written horizontally, set to [Left Bind]. When the text is written vertically, set to [Right Bind].
