Non-Image Area Erase
The following three options are provided to select the condition of Non-Image Area Erase function.
Erase Outside of Original: Always erase the outside area of the original.
ON - APS/AMS Only: Erase the outside area of the original only when Auto Paper or Auto Zoom is activated.
Except Orig. Glass(1:1): Erase the outside area except when making a same-sized copy as the original scanned from the original glass.
Follow the procedure on Displaying the Administrator Setting Menu Screen to display the Administrator Setting Menu screen.
Press System Setting on the Administrator Setting Menu screen, and then press Expert Adjustment, Erase Correction, and Non-Image Area Erase in sequence.
The Original Scan Area Setting screen is displayed.
Select the desired setting key.
Press OK to complete the setting.

In either case, the screen returns to the Erase Correction Menu screen.
