This section describes [Quality Adjustment] for using special toner.
Here, the description is provided when Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit IQ-601 is mounted. First, perform a test output, then make prints or adjustments according to the results.
Perform a test output.
1. Output a job with special toner set (test output).
[Gamma Automatic Adjustment] is performed automatically. This adjustment almost completes the adjustment of special toner.2. Check the job output results.
If there are no problems with the test output results
Proceed to actual printing.
If you are concerned about the test output results
Make the necessary adjustments according to the symptoms that occur.

Tips
- If you want to focus a job using special toner when printing, you can expect more stable output by performing [Maximum Density Adjustment] and [Color Density] and then setting the default printer profile.
Tips
- There is 1 type, S (white), of variable factor for the single-color special toner, while there are 5 types, CMYKS, of the variable factors for the white-undercoating. Therefore, gradation fluctuations are more likely to occur with the white-undercoating CMYK than with the single-color special toner. The adjustment of the white-undercoating CMYK is more important than that of the single-color special toner, so make adjustments carefully.
