Cleaning the Intelligent Media Sensor IM-105
Overview
If any dirt is detected on Intelligent Media Sensor IM-105, follow the procedure below to clean it.
Procedure

Open the Intelligent media sensor front door.

Open the Lever [IM1].

Use a soft cloth to clean the areas indicated in the Touch panel.
If [Clean IM-105 glass surface] is displayed, wipe off any dirt on the Glass surface (A in the figure).
If [Clean IM-105 black back plate and glass.] is displayed, wipe off any dirt on the Glass surface, Resin guide (B in the figure), and Black background plate (C in the figure) in sequence.
If [Clean IM-105 white back plate and glass.] is displayed, wipe off any dirt on the Glass surface, Resin guide (B in the figure), and White background plate (D in the figure) in sequence.
Tips
- When cleaning, always wipe in one direction, from back to front.
- Clean the Resin guide before cleaning the Black background plate or White background plate.
- If it is difficult to remove dirt on Resin guide, wipe each groove using a soft cloth.

Close the Lever [IM1].

Close the Intelligent media sensor front door.

If the message does not disappear after closing the Intelligent media sensor front door, clean the displayed part again.
If the message does not disappear after re-cleaning, contact your service representative.
