Adjustment Flow for Changing Screens
Overview
Perform the following image quality adjustments after changing the screen.
Tips
- This adjustment is the same as when performing adjustments during the setup of the system.
- The use of [Package Color Auto Adj.] allows automatic flow adjustment. The optional Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit IQ-601 and Video Interface Kit VI-514 are required to perform this adjustment. For details, refer to Automatic Batch Color Adjustment (What Is [Package Color Auto Adj.]?).
Tips
- When special toner is used, [Package Color Auto Adj.] is not available. Manually adjust each adjustment item. For details, refer to [Package Color Manual Adj.].
If Using RU Option (Relay Unit RU-518m)
Step 1
Screen Selection
Set the screen assignment ([Custom Screen]) from the machine, and select the screen method ([Screening]) from the printer driver.
Step 2
Automatically adjust the color reproducibility of all of the output paper.
Step 3
[Density Balance Auto. Adj.]
Perform [Density Balance Adjustment] (With MYIRO-1) or [Density Balance Auto. Adjustment] (When Mounted With Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit IQ-601), followed by automatic density balance adjustment.
Step 5
[Color Balance Adjustment]
Perform a calibration which utilizes Exact Color, or a calibration which utilizes G7 calibration (About Advanced [Controller Calibration]) to improve the color balance reproducibility.
Tips
- When using special toner, carry out calibration using a colorimeter. For details, refer to the AccurioPro ColorManager User's Guide.
