Description

Offset Sort

Outputs multiple copies of the original set, having the specified number of sorted sets offset by 20 mm upon exit to the stacker tray. Copies can also be offset by specified number of sorted sets, from 1 to 9,999.

Sort

Outputs multiple copies of the original set. Copies are stacked upon exit without being offset.

Offset Group

Groups together multiple copies of each original and offsets the sets upon exit. Copies can also be offset by specified number of grouped sets, from 1 to 9,999.

Group

Groups together multiple copies of each original. Copies are stacked upon exit without being offset.

Combined with the output modes above, you can also select the desired Face (Face Down or Face Up) and Order (1 to N or N to 1), as needed.

  • You can change the initial output mode from the Utility Menu. For details, refer to Copy Initial Setting.

  1. Position the original.

  2. Press the COPY tab to display the COPY screen.

  3. Press Output Setting.

    The Output Setting screen is displayed.

    • supplementary explanationThe selected output tray is highlighted in the front image of the machine provided on the Output Setting screen. If the stacker tray is not selected as an output tray, press the stacker tray position button .

  4. Select the desired output mode.

    • supplementary explanationSelect one of Offset Sort, Sort, Offset Group, and Group keys under Output.

    • supplementary explanationSelecting Offset Sort or Offset Group displays the Output Offset screen. Use the touch panel keypad to enter the desired number of sets to be offset. Available range is from 1 to 9,999. When finished with the entry, press OK.

    • supplementary explanationSelect either Face Down or Face Up, and either 1 to N or N to 1 provided under Face/Order, as needed.

    • supplementary explanationSelecting N to 1 automatically sets and limits the Face mode to Face Up.

  5. Press OK on the Output Setting screen.

    An icon representing specified function is displayed under Output Setting on the COPY screen.

    NOTICE
    • The loading capacity is limited for the stacker tray of Large Capacity Stacker LS-506. Be careful not to exceed the limit, otherwise unexpected trouble may be caused.
