The total number of originals printed on copy and printer is displayed.

[Total Duplex]

The total number of sheets printed in Duplex (2-sided) mode is displayed.

[# of Originals]

The total number of originals scanned for copying, Scan to E-Mail, etc. is displayed.

[# of Used Paper]

The total number of sheets of output paper is displayed.

When copying 4 pages in Simplex (1-sided) or Duplex (2-sided) mode, for example, the [Total Counter] counts as follows.

For Simplex

Total: +4 are counted.

Total Duplex: it is not counted.

Number of Originals: +4 are counted.

Number of Used Paper: +4 are counted.

For Duplex

Total: +4 are counted.

Total Duplex: +2 are counted.

Number of Originals: +4 are counted.

Number of Used Paper: +2 are counted.

2in1

Indicates the counted number of combined originals that are printed using the 2-in-1 function.

4in1

Indicates the counted number of combined originals that are printed using the 4-in-1 function.

Other

Indicates the total number of combined originals that are printed with a combine printing type other than 2-in-1 or 4-in-1 printing, for example, 8-in-1 printing.

Total Print Rate

Indicates the ratio of the number of pages combined for printing against the [# of Used Paper].

In [Total Counter], the contents combined on a single page are defined as a combined original.

For example, if you select 2-in-1 printing for 8-page original data, two original pages are combined onto a single sheet for printing. Therefore, the [2in1] count results in "4". Also, if you select 4-in-1 printing, four original pages are combined onto a single sheet for printing. Therefore, the [4in1] count results in "2".
