Paper jams may occur during printing or copying.
In order to help prevent the occurrence of paper jams, always keep the following points in mind.
Is the condition of the paper appropriate?
Are the paper settings and the size of the paper in the feed tray correct?
The system features air-blowing functions. Use these functions to prevent paper jams and help prevent their reoccurrence.
The Air Blow function blows the air onto the paper loaded in the feed tray to ensure the paper is fed through smoothly. The air volume can be adjusted either automatically or manually.
The setting details may vary depending on the options mounted to the system. For details, refer to [Paper Separation].
Paper jams may occur in the transfer section when printing on the front or back sides of paper, in particular with thin paper.
Adjusting with the system's [Simple Setting] can be done to help prevent paper jams in the transfer section.
