Overview

By registering a reference image, you can set an area that is not subject to automatic inspection, or set an area that is subject to special inspection, such as variable printing, for example by changing part of an image intentionally.

Efficient inspection is enabled by preventing unnecessary errors and automating checks such as serial number printing.

The set inspection area can also be used for another job's inspection by storing it as a file.

Setting Procedure

Open the original in the application, and click [Print] in the [File] menu.

Select the printer to use for printing, and click [Properties].

Select the [Workflow] tab, and then [Hold] for [Output Method].

Click [OK].

Press [MACHINE] and then [CNTL] on the system’s Touch panel to display the [Hold] job screen.

  • You can perform the same operation using AccurioPro Print Manager.

Select a held print job, and then press [Job Management] followed by [Job Settings].

Select [Create New Registered Image] of the [Quality] tab.

Press [Print] to create the reference image.

Launch your browser.

  • For details about the operating environment of the Web Utilities browser, refer to Web Utilities.

Enter "http://<IP address of Auto Inspection Unit AI-101>/" on the address bar.

  • For example, if the IP address of Auto Inspection Unit AI-101 is 192.168.1.20, enter "http://192.168.1.20/".

NOTICE
  • The IP address of Auto Inspection Unit AI-101 must be set first using [Auto Inspection NIC Setting].

Press [Enter].

The Web Utilities top screen for Auto Inspection Unit AI-101 is displayed.

Click [Reference Image List].

The login screen is displayed.

Enter the [User Name] and [Password], and log in.

  • For details, refer to Login.

Select the reference image for which you want to configure the inspection area settings, and press [InspectionAreaSet.].

Configure the inspection area settings.

  • For details about the setting, refer to [Inspection Area Setting].

  • Specified areas are shown with a colored frame on the preview screen.

Select [Data Registration] in [Profile].

Enter the file name in the text box, and press [Register].

The [Inspection Area Setting] setting information is registered as an inspection area profile (CSV file).

Press [Complete].
