Overview of Reset

When Reset on the control panel is pressed on the COPY screen, SCAN screen, or STORE screen, the machine clears all the conditions specified so far and restores arbitrary settings. This function is called Reset.

If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the SCAN screen, all the selected destinations are reset. However, the scan conditions specified on the Scan Settings screen are not reset.

If Reset on the control panel is pressed on the Scan Settings screen, settings are reset to arbitrary settings. The destinations selected on the SCAN screen are not reset.

Select whether to enable one of the following options as arbitrary settings.

  • Initialize:
    Returns to the setting you selected on the UTILITY screen when the machine is reset.

  • Full Auto:
    Returns to the factory default settings when the machine is reset. However, some settings may be changed.
