Deleting the Fax Driver
Using the deletion program for deletion
If you have installed the fax driver using the installer, the fax driver uninstallation function has been added to the driver.
Administrator privileges are required to perform this task.

In Windows, open the Start menu, and display [Installed apps].
For information on how to open [Installed apps], refer to Open [Installed apps].

Select [KONICA MINOLTA Universal XXX] from the list, and click [Uninstall] ("XXX": driver type).

Select the check boxes of the printer and driver you want to delete, and click [Next].
When the driver is deleted, all the printers that use the driver are deleted.

Click [Uninstall].

Click [OK].
Now, the fax driver has been deleted.
Deletion using the installer
If you installed the printer driver using the installer, you can delete it using the installer.
Download the Universal Print Driver (PC-FAX) from our website when the following cases occur.
The driver DVD is not included with the product.
You have lost the driver DVD.
Your computer is not equipped with a DVD drive.
Administrator privileges are required to perform this task.

Insert the driver DVD into the computer's disk drive, or unzip the downloaded driver.

Launch the installer.
When using the driver DVD, select the driver from the installation menu; the installer starts automatically. If the installer does not start, open the driver folder on the DVD, double-click [UPDSetup.exe] (in the 32-bit environment) or [UPDSetup64.exe] (in the 64-bit environment).
When using the downloaded driver, double-click [UPDSetup.exe] (in the 32-bit environment) or [UPDSetup64.exe] (in the 64-bit environment) in the folder.
If the [User Account Control] window appears, click [Continue] or [Yes].

Read the license agreement, then click [Agree].

Click [Delete].

Select the check boxes of the printer and driver you want to delete, and click [Next].
When the driver is deleted, all the printers that use the driver are deleted.

Click [Uninstall].

Click [OK].
Now, the fax driver has been deleted.
Tips
- If the printer driver was installed without using the installer, manually delete the fax driver. For details, refer to Manually Deleting the Printer Driver.
