Backing up the TPM Key
The information required to decrypt the TPM key can be backed up in USB memory, taking into account cases such as when the TPM chip needs to be replaced.

Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port of this machine.

Tap [Security] - [TPM Setting] - [TPM Key Backup] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine).

Tap [Restoration Password], then enter the password to decrypt the TPM key (using 12 to 64 single-byte characters).

Tap [OK].
The TPM key is saved in USB memory.
NOTICE
Do not remove the USB memory device during the backup process.
