Overview

In [Paper Setting], set paper conditions for a paper tray.

NOTICE

Using the following paper may cause a failure because the adhesive surface may adhere to various parts inside the system during paper feeding. When using the following paper, be sure to contact your service representative in advance.

  • Special paper such as label paper
  • Paper with adhesive surface
NOTICE
  • The special toner-related functions are only available for AccurioPress C14010S / AccurioPress C12010S / AccurioPress C10500S.
NOTICE

The following options are required to use the special toner-related functions.

  • 5th Color Kit CK-102
  • 5th Color Kit for Main Body UK-121
  • 5th Color Kit for Own Controller UK-224 (when Image Controller is mounted)
  • 5th Color Kit for Fiery Controller UK-118 (when controller manufactured by Fiery is mounted)
Tips
  • Even while a job is running, the paper setting can be changed for a paper tray that is not used for the job. However, an item of an inactive key cannot be changed.
  • Series B paper is set to JIS or ISO standard size by default. This setting differs depending on the shipping region. For JIS/ISO switching, contact your service representative.
  • A paper profile that does not match the specifications of the paper tray cannot be set.
  • The selectable paper types and sizes vary depending on the optional devices mounted on this system. For details, refer to Optional Part Names and Specifications for Paper Feed.
Tips
  • For details about the paper types available on this system, such as textured paper, coated paper, and special paper, which have a high unevenness on the surface, contact your service representative.

Setting item

Description

[Recall]

Select the desired paper profile from the list of registered paper profiles.

[No. Recall]

Enter the number of the registered paper profile to recall the paper profile.

[Simple Setting]

Easily makes adjustments using the preset items (preset table) from the [Expert Adj.] items.

[Paper Measurement]

Measure the paper loaded in the selected Paper Feeder Unit, and manually check that the same type of paper as that specified in [Paper Type] is loaded in the paper tray.

[Change Set]

Changes the paper setting to suit the paper loaded in the paper tray.

[New Setting]

Sets new paper information.

[Register]

Register the paper setting of the selected paper tray as a paper profile.
