If Consumable Replacement Message is Displayed

Please add toner

If toner supply from the toner bottle becomes low, the message Please add toner (K) is displayed to notify the replacement time.
In this case, printing can continue with toner left in the toner storage. Check the color of an empty toner bottle, and replace the target toner bottle.

Tips

  • The color of the toner bottle to be replaced is displayed like “(K)” following Please add toner.

  • Also, you can view the color of the toner bottle to be replaced in the Consumable and Scrap Indicators display on the MACHINE screen.
    The indicator lamp lights up red, and the toner name is displayed in yellow.

  • Toner bottles can even be replaced during printing.

NOTICE

  • If toner supply from the toner storage becomes low, the message No toner / Please add toner (K) is displayed, and the machine stops.

Please replace waste toner box

When the waste toner box collects considerable amount of used toner and reaches the replacement time, the message Please replace waste toner box is displayed to notify the replacement time.

Tips

  • The Consumable and Scrap Indicators display on the MACHINE screen lights up red, and the color of the characters of the waste toner box changes to yellow. This notifies a sufficient amount of waste toner has accumulated that the time has been reached for replacement.

NOTICE

  • When the waste toner box is full of waste toner, the message Waste toner box is full / Please replace the box is displayed, and the machine stops.

Cyclone box replacement time

When the time is reached for the cyclone box to be replaced, the message Cyclone box replace time is displayed to notify of the replacement time.

Tips

  • The Consumable and Scrap Indicators display on the MACHINE screen lights up red, and the color of characters of the cyclone box changes to yellow. This notifies that the time has been reached to replace the cyclone box.

NOTICE

  • When the time has been reached to replace the cyclone box, the message Please replace cyclone box is displayed. Toner may squirt outside the machine. When the message is displayed, smoothly replace the cyclone box.

Please add staples to the stapler

When the staple cartridge of the finisher becomes empty, the staple replenishment message is displayed in the message area of the screen.
The message varies depending on the mounted finisher model or staple location. Follow the instructions in the displayed message to add staples.

Tips

  • The Consumable and Scrap Indicators display on the MACHINE screen lights up red, and the color of characters of the staple changes to yellow. This notifies that the staple cartridge is empty.
