The Paper Jam Indicator Lamp on Perfect Binder PB-503 is Lighting

On a machine with Finisher FS-532 installed on the left side of Perfect Binder PB-503, paper is conveyed to the finisher.
At this time, if a paper jam occurs in the conveyance unit of the perfect binder, the indicator lamp lights up.

NOTICE

  • When a paper jam occurs, make sure to check whether the paper jam indicator lamp for the perfect binder is on.

When the paper jam indicator lamp is on, remove mishandled paper according to the procedure below.

  1. Open the conveyance cover of the perfect binder.

  2. Turn the knob [PB14] to the left, and remove the paper jammed in the inlet of the conveyance unit.

  3. If there is jammed paper in the outlet of the conveyance section, remove it.

  4. Check whether there is jammed paper in the Finisher FS-532.

  5. Check that the paper jam indicator lamp is turned off.
