Loading Paper Into the Multi Bypass Tray MB-510
Overview
Load paper into the Multi Bypass Tray MB-510.
To load paper of different specifications, change the paper setting of the Bypass tray.
For details about the paper setting, refer to [Paper Setting].
CAUTION
- Do not use stapled paper, conductive paper (foil, carbon paper, etc.) or surface treated paper (thermal paper, inkjet paper, etc.), because they may cause a fire.
Procedure

Load the paper and place the Side guides against the paper.
- Do not load more than 250 sheets of paper (80 g/m2 / 21 lb Bond). Also, be careful not to exceed the stack limit line indicated on the Side guides. Doing so can cause a paper jam.
- Load the paper so that it is placed against the left side of the tray. If paper is not properly set until the end, the paper may become curled and may cause problems in the feed mechanism, which in turn can cause paper jams.

Close the Bypass tray when the output is operation is complete.
