[Automatic Processing Mode by Registered Images]

Performs the reference image creation and the automatic inspection all at once by setting the number of copies for the job to 2 or more.

• This function creates and registers a reference image when printing the first copy, and automatically inspects the second and subsequent copies using the reference image created when printing the first copy.

• If only 1 copy is to be printed, only reference image creation and registration are performed.

• After printing, the optional item of [Auto Inspection] is changed to [Use Registered Image], and the job is saved while the reference image created in the first copy is selected.

[Create New Registered Image]

Registers a new reference image.

[Use Registered Image]

Select a registered reference image from the menu list to perform the automatic inspection.

[Wait for Inspection]

Waits to start the inspection until you press Start on the Control panel of this system.

Before starting job inspection, you can change the following settings on the Touch panel of this system.

[Delete Image after Inspection]

Deletes the reference image used for inspection.

[Image Position Adjustment without Crop Marks]

Corrects the image position in real time without printing crop marks for auto image adjustment. The correction value for misalignment is calculated from the reference image and inspection image used for automatic inspection.

• If there is not enough margin on the paper, you can turn this function on to perform image position correction equivalent to [Auto Image Adjustment]. However, [Auto Image Adjustment], which makes corrections by printing crop marks, provides more accurate correction.

• Image position correction is only effective for jobs with more than a certain number of pages, as correction may not work for the first few dozen pages from the start of printing.

• During correction, the adjustment values for [Paper Setting] - [Both Sides] are automatically updated.

• If [Image Position Adjustment without Crop Marks] is turned on, [Auto Image Adjustment] is automatically set to [Off].
