Does not use the special toner.

[Print Spot Color in Special Toner or Alternative Spot Color]

Replaces the spot color for special toner with a spot color reproduced using a single color of special toner or a combination of CMYK toner when printing.

• In [Spot Color Name], enter the spot color name you want to print with special toner.

• The spot color name entered in [Spot Color Name] must be registered on the DTP application.

• Checking [Confirmation Print using Alternative Spot Color] replaces the spot color with the one entered in the entry field below. This option is recommended when you do not want to consume special toner for Proof Print and others.

• The spot color set in [Confirmation Print using Alternative Spot Color] must be registered in the spot color table of Image Controller on this system.

[Print the Background in Special Toner]

Coats the entire surface of the paper with special toner and print on top of it with CMYK toner.

[Print all or specific objects in Special Toner]

Prints the selected CMYK objects from [Text], [Graphics], or [Image] using a single color of special toner.

[Printing Pages]

[All]

Prints all pages using special toner.

[Range]

Sets the range of pages to print using special toner.

• Pages outside the set range are printed using only CMYK toner.

• To select consecutive pages, set the range using a hyphen (-) (example: enter "1-3" when selecting pages 1 to 3).

• To select multiple pages, divide them using a comma (,) (example: enter "1,3,5" when selecting pages 1, 3, and 5).

• You can use hyphens and commas at the same time (example: 1-3,5).

[Special Toner Density]

Sets the maximum value of the special toner density.

• Range: 1% to 100%

[Output Color]

Displays the output image of the printing method selected in [Special Toner].

[Paper Color]

Paper color list

Changes the background color of the output image displayed in [Output Color].
