A black/white original was printed, but it was counted as a color print.

Cause

Crop mark was specified as color data (SpotColor ALL).

This error may occur in general Adobe applications.

Overview

This error can be avoided by specifying black for SpotColor ALL.

Black can be specified in the color setting of SpotColor.

SpotColor [All] is a special color specified for a crop mark that is generated using an Adobe DTP application.

Procedure

1. Select Server - Device Center on Command WorkStation to open the Device Center page.

2. Select RESOURCES - Spot Colors - +New, and create a new spot color dictionary.

3. Select +New - Spot Color, and enter ALL for the color name.

4. For the CMYK value, specify C=0, M=0, Y=0, and K=100 as the conversion colors, and register them.

5. Start printing.
