Configuring the Scan Settings

Configure settings related to the preview function of classic style.

Select [System Settings] - [Preview Settings] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the settings. For details, refer to [Preview Settings].

Tips

• The following settings are not available for Web Connection.
  [Display 'Original Direction' selection screen], [Preview Display Conditions (Standard Application)], [Preview Display Conditions(Registered Application)]

Print date/time or stamp on blank pages inserted by the cover sheet or inter sheet function.

Select [System Settings] - [Blank Page Print Settings] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the settings. For details, refer to [Blank Page Print Settings].

Select whether to give priority to either the image quality or speed when creating a compact PDF file.

Select [System Settings] - [Compact PDF Settings] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the settings. For details, refer to [Compact PDF Settings].

Change the default file name of scanned original data when saving it.

The file name is: "initial of the function" + "text to be added" + "date" + "sequential number" + "page number" + "file extension".
