Register the name, E-mail address and extension number of the administrator of this machine.

• [Administrator Name]: Enter the administrator name of this machine (using up to 20 single-byte characters or 10 double-byte characters).

• [E-mail Address]: Enter the E-mail address of the administrator of this machine (using up to 128 single-byte characters, excluding spaces). To use the E-mail TX function, it settings are required.

• [Extension No.]: Enter the extension number of the administrator of this machine (using up to eight digits).

• [Company Name]: Enter the company name (using up to 80 double-byte or single-byte characters).

• [Department Name]: Enter the department name (using up to 80 double-byte or single-byte characters).

[Input Machine Address]

Register the device name and E-mail address of this machine.

• [Device Name]: Enter the name of this machine (using up to 80 single-byte characters). The file name automatically assigned in scanning and sending incorporates the name specified for [Device Name].

• [E-mail Address]: Enter the E-mail address of this machine (using up to 320 single-byte characters, excluding spaces).

[Contact Name]

Enter the contact name of this machine (using up to 63 single-byte characters).

[Contact Information]

Enter the contact information of this machine such as the phone number or URL (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

[Product Help URL]

Enter the Product Help URL of this machine (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

[Corporate URL]

Enter the URL of the Web page for the manufacturer of this machine (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

[Supplies and Accessories]

Enter consumables supplier information (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

[Online Help URL]

Enter the Web Connection online help URL (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

[Driver URL]

Enter the URL of the place where the driver of this machine is stored (using up to 127 single-byte characters).

Enter an appropriate URL to suit your environment.

[Engine Serial Number]

Enables you to confirm the serial number of this machine.

[Default operation mode setting]

Select the default operation screen to be applied when this machine is started (default: [Basic Style]).

• [Basic Style]: Standard operation screen. This mode provides the simple screen layout and instinctive operability.

• [Classic Style]: Operation screen adopted in the previous models. Some functions are available only in classic style.

[Press Menu/Home key to access Style]

Select the operation screen that is displayed when Menu is pressed (default: [Default setting of Style]).

[Default Basic/Enlarge Display Common Setting]

Select whether to configure the initial values for Normal and Enlarge Display mode at the same time (default: [Do not Apply]).

If [Apply to all] is selected, [Default Enlarge Display Settings] is not displayed. Initial values for each mode that are changed in [Default Copy Settings] or [Default Scan/Fax Settings] are applied to both Normal and Enlarge Display modes.

[Reset when user changes]

Select whether to reset all settings (except registered settings) when the key counter or management card is removed (default: [Reset]).

[Reset when originals are loaded in ADF]

Select whether to reset all settings (except registered settings) when an original is loaded on the ADF (default: [Do Not Reset]).

[Reset settings for next job]

Select whether to reset Original Set/Bind Direction settings and TX Settings for each job.

• [Original Set/Bind Direction]: Select whether to reset the setting after the job with the original loading or the bind direction specified was completed (default: [Do Not Reset]).

• [Reset Data After Job]: Select whether to reset all the option settings or reset only destinations when sending in Scan/Fax mode (default: [Reset all]). If you select [User Defined], a confirmation screen appears to check with you whether to reset settings or destinations.

[System auto reset function]

When using the system auto reset function, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[System Auto Reset Time]

Specify the time required to reset (default: [1] minute, available range: [1] to [9] minutes).

[Display style after reset]

Displays the contents you set in [Utility] - [Administrator] - [System Settings] - [Default operation mode setting.] - [Default operation mode setting].

[Basic Style] is displayed by default.

[Start-up display screen after reset]

Select the screen to be displayed with priority after reset.

If [Basic Style] is displayed in [Display style after reset], select the screen from the home screen of basic style (default: [Home screen]). If [Classic Style] is displayed, select the screen from the main menu of classic style (default: [Main Menu]).

[Save Document]

When permitting the user to save a file in a USB flash drive, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Print Document]

When permitting the user to print a file from a USB flash drive, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[Name]

Enter the name of the header or footer to be registered (using up to 16 single-byte characters or 8 double-byte characters).

[Color]

Select the color of the text to be printed.

[Pages]

Select the range of pages on which the text is printed in the header/footer.

[Size]

Select the size of the text to be printed.

[Text Type]

Select the font of printing texts.

[Date/Time Setting]

Select the display format of date and time if the [Date/Time Setting] of [Header] or [Footer] is set to [Print].

[Distribution Number]

Specify the content of distribution number to be displayed if the [Distribution Number] of [Header] or [Footer] is set to [Print].

• [Primary Field]: Enter a text to be added to the distribution number for printing (using up to 20 single-byte characters or 10 double-byte characters).

• [Output Method]: Select the number of digits.

• [Start Number Specification]: Specify the number to start distribution numbers.

[Header]/[Footer]

Specify the items to be printed on header/footer.

• [Header String]/[Footer String]: Enter a text to be printed (using up to 40 single-byte characters or 20 double-byte characters).

• Select whether to print [Date/Time Setting], [Distribution Number], [Job Number], [Serial Number] (Engineering number of the machine), and [User Name/Account Name].

[Fax RX Job Priority]

When giving priority to fax printing during copying or printing, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Skip Job (Fax)]

To first process the next fax job when printing stops due to a shortage of paper or overloaded output tray, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[Skip Job (Copy, Print)]

To first process the next job other than fax when printing stops due to a shortage of paper or overloaded output tray, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[Prefix/Suffix Automatic Setting]

To automatically add a prefix or suffix to the destination number when using a fax server that communicates in the E-mail format, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

Setting to ON adds the value of registered number 01 specified in [Utility] - [Administrator] - [Store Address] - [Prefix/Suffix].

[WebAPI Setting]

Specify the port number used to establish a WebAPI communication.

• [Port No.]: If necessary, change the port number (default: [60000]).

[Simple Connection Setting]

Configure functions to associate with a mobile terminal.

• [QR Code Display Setting]: When displaying wireless connection information of this machine using the QR code, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

• [Enable NFC]: When using NFC, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

• [Enable Bluetooth LE]: When using the Bluetooth LE, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Wireless Connection Setting]

Configure a setting to establish a wireless connection from a mobile terminal to this machine. This option is available when [QR Code Display Setting] or [Enable NFC] is used in [Simple Connection Setting].

• [Wireless Connection Setting]: When connecting from a mobile terminal to this machine in wireless mode, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

• [Wireless Connection Method]: Select the method for setting the information required to establish a wireless connection from a mobile terminal to this machine (default: [Use MFP Wireless Setting]).
  This option is displayed when this machine is connected to a wireless network environment.

• [Individual Settings]: Specify information required to establish a wireless connection from a mobile terminal to this machine.
  [SSID]: Enter the SSID of the access point (using up to 32 single-byte characters).
  [Authentication/Encryption Algorithm]: Select the algorithm used for authentication or encryption (default: [No Authentication/Encryption]).
  Specify [WEP Key Input Method] and [WEP Key] when [WEP] is selected in [Authentication/Encryption Algorithm].
  When an algorithm other than [WEP] or [No Authentication/Encryption] is selected in [Authentication/Encryption Algorithm], specify [Key input method] and [Security key].

When [Network I/F Configuration] is set to [Wireless Only], a pairing is established by applying the wireless settings of this machine; therefore, this setting is not displayed.

[Touch Connection Link Application Settings]

When you place the Android terminal on the Mobile Touch Area of this machine, select an application to be started preferentially (default: [Konica Minolta Mobile Print]).

[Function Mode Initial]

Select whether to use an initial of the relevant function as a prefix for the file name (default: [Attach]). The following letters are used as prefixes for file name.

C: Copy

S: Scan

P: Print

[Supplementary File Name]

Select whether to add a device name or desired text to the file name (default: [Device Name]). To add desired text, enter it.

For the device name, use the name you specified by selecting [Machine Setting] - [Input Machine Address] - [Device Name].

[Paper Name]

Enter the paper name (using up to 12 single-byte characters or 6 double-byte characters) (default: [CUSTOM]).

[Paper Type]

Select the paper type (default: [Plain Paper]).

[Default Enlarge Display Setting]

When changing the default display of the classic style to the enlarge display mode, set this option to [Enlarge Display] (default: [Normal Display]).

[Enlarge Display Setting]

If [Default Enlarge Display Setting] is set to [Enlarge Display], specify whether to switch to the enlarge display mode when the normal screen display is reset (default: [Normal]).

[Apply Basic Setting to Enlarge Display]

Select whether to inherit the settings configured on the normal screen display when switching the screen from Normal to Enlarge Display (default: [Mode 2]).

• [Mode 1]: Inherit all normal mode settings.

• [Mode 2]: In Copy mode, only inherit Normal mode settings that can be set in Enlarge Display mode. In other modes, the settings are reset.

[Main Menu Display Settings]

Select the theme to be applied to the main menu of classic style (default: [Theme 1]).

[Registration]

Connects the USB flash drive, which contains the image you want to use as the theme of the main menu, to this machine, and registers it as the user theme. Up to three files can be registered as images.

[Delete]

Deletes the registered user theme.

[Real time preview]

When using the real time preview function, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

Displays a preview image for each page while scanning the original. Each preview image shows the scanned original as is.

[Set key Initial display]

When setting the preview screen with setting keys displayed as the default, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Display 'Original Direction' selection screen]

To display the screen for selecting the original loading direction when scanning the original pressing the Preview key, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[Preview Display Conditions (Standard Application)]

Select conditions to display a preview image (default: [Press Preview Key]).

• [Jobs Executed]: Shows a preview image when pressing the Start key to execute a job as well as when pressing the Preview key.

• [Press Preview Key]: Shows a preview image only when the Preview key is pressed.

[Preview Display Conditions(Registered Application)]

Select conditions to display a preview image when using the OpenAPI application (default: [Press Preview Key]).

• [Jobs Executed]: Shows a preview image when pressing the Start key to execute a job as well as when pressing the Preview key.

• [Press Preview Key]: Shows a preview image only when the Preview key is pressed.

• [Use Standard App. Settings]: Follows the setting of [Preview Display Conditions (Standard Application)].

[Copy/Print Screen Pattern]

Select a display pattern of function keys to be displayed on the copy and print screens (default: [Full]).

• [Full]: Displays all the function keys.

• [Standard] (Not displayed in some areas): Displays commonly used function keys.

• [Basic]: Displays the more basic function keys than [Standard].

You can select [Details] to check the details of each display pattern.

[Send/Save Screen Pattern]

Select a display pattern of function keys to be displayed on the send and save screens (default: [Full]).

• [Full]: Displays all the function keys.

• [Standard] (Not displayed in some areas): Displays commonly used function keys.

• [Basic]: Displays the more basic function keys than [Standard].

You can select [Details] to check the details of each display pattern.

[Copy/Print]

When permitting the user to change the function keys to be displayed on the copy and print screens, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Send/Save]

When permitting the user to change the function keys to be displayed on the send and save screens, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Function Name]

Select a category of function to be assigned to a shortcut key.

• [Not Set]: Do not create any shortcut key.

• [Function]: Create a shortcut key to the Main screen for the each function.

• [Copy Function Settings]: Create a shortcut key to the setting screen for the copy function.

• [Scan/Fax Function Settings]: Create a shortcut key to the setting screen for the Send function.

• [Copy Program]: Create a shortcut key to a copy program. This option is available when copy programs are registered on this machine.

• [Scan/Fax Program]: Create a shortcut key to a Send program. This option is available when Send programs are registered on this machine.

• [System User Box]: Create a shortcut key to the System User Box.

• [Sound Setting]: Create a shortcut key to the sound setting screen for [Accessibility].

• [Eco Function Settings]: Create a shortcut key to the Eco-related function.

• [Widget Settings]: Create a shortcut key to the widget setting screen.

• [Quick Security Setting]: Create a shortcut key to the simple security setting screen.

• [QR Code Display]: Create a shortcut key to the QR code display screen.

• [Address book]: Create a shortcut key to the address book.

[Shortcut Key]

Select a function to be assigned to a shortcut key. The available functions vary depending on the category selected in [Function Name].

[Scan/Fax Program Shortcut Key]

Select the program destination to be displayed from the list when a shortcut key to a Send program is created.

[Specify Icon]

Select an icon to be displayed on the main menu when a shortcut key to a program is created.

[Slide Menu Settings]

When using the slide menu, set this option to ON (default: ON).

[Soft Numeric Keypad]

When displaying the keypad on the slide menu, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Settings in Enlarge Display mode]

If you want to also enlarge the slide menu when displaying the slide menu in the Enlarge Display mode, set this option to ON (default: OFF).

[Slide Menu Theme]

Select the background color of the slide menu (default: [Theme 1]).

[Print]

Select the timing to start printing received data (default: [Save & Print]).

• [Batch Print]: Printing is started after all pages are received.

• [Save & Print]: Printing is started as the first page is received.

[Fax]

Select the timing to start printing received fax data (default: [Batch Print]).

• [Batch Print]: Printing is started after all pages are received.

• [Save & Print]: Printing is started as the first page is received.
  For Internet Fax, Batch Print is always selected.

[Communication history sort method]

Specify the sort order of [Comm. List] on the [Job List] screen.

Select whether to sort in the order of which the registration date/time is earlier or later (default: [New]).
