Intelligent media sensor front door

When clearing a paper jam, open the door and remove the paper.

When Intelligent Media Sensor IM-105 is mounted, the front doors of Intelligent Media Sensor IM-104 and Intelligent Media Sensor IM-105 open together.

When clearing a paper jam, open the cover and remove the paper.

Function

Paper setting support

The paper type, basis weight, and [Expert Adj.] value are automatically determined from the physical property value of the measured paper.

Also, the paper settings and paper profile estimated from the measurement results are also reflected in the tray.

Constant paper monitoring

Paper that does not match the [Paper Setting] is detected by measuring the physical property value of the paper fed through the tray.

Also, double-fed paper generated by the paper feed option is output to the Purge tray.

Widthwise 100 mm to 330.2 mm, lengthwise 139.7 mm to 1,300 mm / Widthwise 3.94" to 13", lengthwise 5.5" to 51.18"

* The moisture content is not guaranteed for widths less than 130 mm / 5.12".

* Loading paper (banner paper) over 487.7 mm / 19.20" is not guaranteed.

Supported paper type

Conforms to the machine.

However, the following paper types are not subject to the measurement of paper conditions such as the paper type and basis weight, and are not subject to [Paper Error Check].

• Transparent paper / semi-transparent paper, synthetic resin sheets, metallized sheets, colored paper

• Prohibited paper (Paper thickness: 30 μm or less / 550 μm or more, Stiffness: 1,200 or more)
