Connect the machine to an Android/iOS tablet terminal, then configure a communication setting to transfer image data or operation contents of the Control Panel.

Settings

Description

[Connection Method]

Compresses image data of the Control Panel of this machine before sending it to a tablet terminal.

Select whether to give priority to the operation speed at a tablet terminal or give priority to the image quality of the tablet terminal screen.

[Standard] is specified by default.

[Connection Timeout]

If necessary, change the timeout period to close a communication with a tablet terminal.

[20] minutes is selected by default.

[Remote Operation Switch Confirmation]

Select whether to display the screen for checking whether to continue a remote operation on the screen of a tablet terminal when the Control Panel of this machine has been touched while a remote operation is being performed using a tablet terminal.

[OFF] is specified by default.

  • An optional Upgrade Kit UK-209 is required to connect this machine to an Android/iOS tablet terminal when an optional Reverse Automatic Document Feeder DF-624 is used in ineo+ 364e/284e/224e.
    If you are using Dual Scan Document Feeder DF-701, Upgrade Kit UK-209 (dual scan board) is already installed on this machine.

  • To use an Android/iOS tablet terminal, settings must be made on this machine by a service engineer. For details, contact your service representative.

  • To use an Android/iOS tablet terminal, a dedicated application must be installed on the terminal.
