Procedure for [Registration Adj.]

The following shows the procedure for [Registration Adj.].

1. Checking the reference position of the printing side .

   To determine the misalignment of printing position, the adjustment of the reference position required on the main body side must be completed.

   Before performing [Registration Adj.], check the adjusted value of the reference position and make adjustment as needed.

   The following items of [Adjustment] - [Machine Adjustment] - [Printer Adjustment] on the [MACHINE] screen are adjustment items that need to be checked:

   • [Centering Adjustment] ->Centering Adjustment: Adjusting the Image Position in the Crosswise Direction in the Printer

   • [FD-Mag. Adjustment] ->FD-Mag. Adjustment: Adjusting the Magnification in Paper Feed Direction in the Printer

   • [CD-Mag. Adjustment] ->CD-Mag. Adjustment: Adjusting the Magnification in Crosswise Direction in the Printer

   Follow the procedure below to adjust the registration.

   [FD-Mag. Adjustment] - [CD-Mag. Adjustment] - [Centering Adjustment]

   

   • The adjustment for the reference position of the print side is an advanced adjustment. Contact your service representative in advance of the adjustment.

2. Adjust [Registration Adj.].

   You can use any of the following to adjust.

   • [Zoom]/[Image Shift] adjustment: The magnification and printing position in up and down directions can be finely adjusted. The adjustment data can be entered directly in percentage terms or in numerical terms to shift.→Zoom/Image Shift adjustment

   • [Chart Adjustment]: You can print a chart and scale measurement points. Entering the measured value adjusts the magnification and printing position. →Chart Adjustment
