Scanning using TWAIN drivers requires the following settings to be configured in advance.
Connected to a network via TCP / IP.
The TWAIN driver must be installed.
An application that supports the TWAIN scanner driver must be installed.
The TWAIN driver is required to import scan data to the computer. The TWAIN driver and the User's Guide that describes the TWAIN driver usage instructions can be downloaded from the following URL.
Scanning using Web Service drivers requires the following settings to be configured in advance.
Connected to a network via TCP / IP.
The system should be installed to your computer as a WSD scan device.
[Network discovery] can be checked by clicking [Network and Internet] - [Network and Sharing Center] - [Change advanced sharing settings] in [Control Panel].
To access the [Printers & scanners] screen, select [Bluetooth & devices] from [Settings].
The installation is complete once the printer name is displayed.
Go to Step 4 if the printer name is not displayed.
The [User Account Control] screen may display. Check the contents before continuing.
