[Ref. Image Manage.]
Overview
Automatic inspection is a function that compares a RIP image or the pre-registered reference image with the target image, and detects problematic output paper.
[Ref. Image Manage.] allows you to register or manage the reference image for automatic inspection.
You can also set an area that is not subject to automatic inspection or a sequential check.
Reference images can be checked with the Touch panel of this system or Web Utilities of Auto Inspection Unit AI-101.
NOTICE
All the following options are required to use this function.
- Intelligent Quality Optimizer Unit IQ-601
- Auto Inspection Unit AI-101
- Option with waste paper output tray (compatible finisher or Relay Unit RU-702)
- Video Interface Kit VI-514
- Video Interface Kit VI-515
Tips
- Up to 2,000 reference images can be registered. You may not be able to register up to the maximum number of images depending on the scanning paper size.
- [Reference Image Name] of the image previously used for automatic inspection is marked by a yellow round icon.

Setting item | Description |

[Reference Image List] | Displays the registered reference images. |
[InspectionAreaSet.] | Sets an area for inspecting the selected reference image. The inspection area can be set by accessing the Web Utilities of Auto Inspection Unit AI-101 from the Touch panel of this system or a browser.

[MultipleSelect] | To simultaneously select multiple rows, first press this key, and select a reference image. Pressing this key again releases the selection. When multiple images are selected, you cannot move the list or set an inspection area. |
[All Select] | Selects all the reference images. Press [MultipleSelect] to release the selections. |
