The printing by AirPrint automatically detects an MFP or printer on the same network from iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac in order to print data displayed on the terminal. This function enables you to directly print out E-mails, photos, web pages, and other images, which are displayed on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, on this machine without installing a printer driver.
When using the printing by AirPrint, follow the steps below to configure the settings.
Configure settings to enable the print function.
Select [Network] - [AirPrint Setting] - [Print Setting] in administrator mode of Web Connection (or in [Utility] - [Administrator] of this machine), and configure the following settings.

[SSL Settings] | Select whether to use the SSL for communication or not (default: [SSL Only]).

[Bonjour Name] | Enter the machine name (Bonjour name) that is displayed when the printer is detected (using up to 63 single-byte characters). |
[Bonjour Service Name] | Displays the service name of the Bonjour name that is automatically generated from the Bonjour name. |
[Location] | Enter the location where this machine is installed (using up to 127 single-byte characters). |
[Latitude] | Enter the latitude of the location where this machine is installed. If the latitude of the installation location is not known, use the default. |
[Longitude] | Enter the longitude of the location where this machine is installed. If the longitude of the installation location is not known, use the default. |
[Altitude] | Enter the altitude of the location where this machine is installed. If the altitude of the installation location is not known, enter any number. |
[Timeout] | Enter the communication timeout period (default: [60 sec.]). |
[Fax Log Location] | Displays the log storage location when a fax is sent from an AirPrint-compatible Mac. For details on the fax sending function, refer to Sending a Fax from an AirPrint-Compatible Mac. |
If [Print Setting] is set to ON, the following settings change synchronously.

You can enhance security by encrypting communications between your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac and this machine with SSL when using the printing by AirPrint.
